2024 Risograph Calendar

"The secret to life is finding joy in ordinary things."

You know when the sunlight hits your coffee cup just right, or when you a find a "weed" that is just as beautiful as a "flower"? This year's calendar is inspired by just that: magic in the ✨ ordinary ✨

Each month is hand-drawn AND hand-printed by me! I had access to a total of 4 Riso inks (pink, blue, yellow, black) and each month features 2-3 of those colors in various combinations, creating entirely new hues. RISO.MAGIC. 🌈

Each loose page measures 8.5 x 11" and comes with a clip to hang. Printed on a natural white Neenah card stock. Once each month passes, trim calendar portion off for mini prints!

Packages are sent via USPS Priority Mail 1-3 day delivery, or choose the "local pickup" if you are in the Akron area (or know you'll be seeing me soon :)

About the Riso Process:

Each print is a little bit different than the next, which gives it its unique character. Hopefully you find the play of overlapping inks on paper to be as magical as I do!

What is Riso? Risograph printing is a technique best described as a ‘digital screen printing’. It’s known for its vivid colors (that other printers can’t produce) and its specific textures. And — it’s environmentally friendly! The inks are soy-based, the stencils are made from rice paper, and it takes 1/10 of the energy of a traditional copier. Heck yeah!
